The Topas is versatile for all types of installations. For example, it can be fitted below a balcony, underneath an overhang or within a recess. This is known as an open awning. Alternatively, if there is no structural protection, you can have the addition of a top profile or hood. This will protect your cover from the elements. In fact, the Topas Awning is extremely wind-resistant which makes it a popular choice.
Your awning can be in a single unit up to 7m wide with a 4m projection. If the area you want to cover is larger than this, you can have a 2 unit system up to 12m. This will consist of continuous fabric or with a ‘jockey’ cover to join the two sections of material.
Choosing colours for your awning cover & framework
When choosing the fabric for your Topas, there is a wide range available. Whether you want a plain material or some form of stripe or pattern, there is plenty of choice. The covers not only provide sun protection but cover against light rain.
Consequently, this makes your patio area useable in all types of weather conditions. Not only can you select the cover of your fabric but also the framework. There’s an extensive choice of RAL colours. Therefore, if required, your awning can blend in with your home or business colour schemes.
Weinor Topas Controls
The advances of technology have impacted on the awning trade. Whilst we still supply manually operated awnings with winding handles, there are other options now available. Would you like the ease of operating your awning with a handset? Maybe you want your awning to automatically retract if it’s windy, rainy or sunny. With Weinor Awnings, you can do either or both of these by adding wind sensors.
Additionally, you can control your patio lighting and heating system with one handset.
In summary, the Topas is a great choice for your awning needs without breaking the bank!
N.B. These are sun shading solutions and not to be relied upon as rain and snow protection products.
